If you fished today, you know it was an “off-day”. If you did not fish today, you really did not miss much.
Weather/water was good, fishing pressure was weekday normal, but with only a few exceptions, the fishing was poor by November standards.
I talked to many experienced anglers who fished hard and suffered through today without a fish.
Some anglers caught a fish or two, a few anglers had a good early bite and the Walnut pier, near the lake, briefly experienced an outstanding “metal bite” in the early afternoon.
Yes, TR had another “fish market” day, and the chutes at Walnut produced plenty of hookups. If that style of fishing suits you, then have at it. Elsewhere fishing was so – so.
Tomorrow’s anticipated “better fishing” is no longer given.
Showers now – rain expected a.m.
